Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai/Chennai South India tour package

On arrival in Chennai, meet our local south india tours representative at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 : Chennai
After breakfast leave for full day excursion to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Mahabalipuram is a UNESCO Heritage site famous for its seven pagodas. On the seashore is an interesting group of ancient rock hewn temples which are the examples of Dravidian style architecture. Kanchipuram is the city of 1,000 Temples as old as 7th & 8th Century and still has 124 shrines. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Chennai/Trichy
Morning after breakfast continues for South India tours to it's popular city Chennai and it's popular Museum (closed on Fridays and Public Holidays). Drive through the Flower and Fruit market, High Court, Fort Museum, Marine Beach, St. Thomas Cathedral and Snake Park. Later transfer to Railway Station to board Train Vaigai Express for Trichy. Upon arrival in Trichy, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 : Trichy/Tanjore: (60kms)
Morning sightseeing tour of Trichy after breakfast, visiting the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati, 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines lead to the temple, later heading towards the Temple for Lord Shiva. Afternoon depart by surface for Tanjore and upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Tanjore/Madurai (158 kms)
Morning city sightseeing tour of Tanjore visiting the beautiful Chola temple of Brihadeshvara which is capped by a monolithic cupola made of single granite block weighting 80 tonnes. In the afternoon depart for Madurai by surface and upon arrival check in at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Madurai

Next morning after breakfast, leave for full day sightseeing tour of Madurai, visit to Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams during south india tour package. Day 07: Madurai /Periyar (160Kms)
After breakfast depart for Periyar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening leave for boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife viz. Wild Boars, Sambars, Wild Dogs, Langur, Monkeys and Wild Elephants. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Periyar/Kumarakom (185 kms)

Depart for Kottayam and upon arrival transfer to Jetty to travel by boat to Kumarakom where you check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09: Kumarakom/Cochin (92kms)
Morning at leisure, optional visit to Bird Sanctuary after breakfast. Later depart by boat on the back waters to Alleppey and by surface from Alleppey to Cochin upon arrival transfer to hotel. Evening is free at leisure during south india trip. You may opt for Kathakali dance performances. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Cochin:
Morning city sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and the Santra Cruz Church. Afternoon is at leisure for optional boat ride on backwaters. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day: 11 Cochin/Ooty (281 kms)
Depart by surface for Ooty after breakfast and upon arrival check in at the hotel. In the afternoon leave for city tour of Ooty, visiting the Lake and Botanical gardens. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Next morning after breakfast depart for Mysore by road and upon arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Mysore, visiting the palace of the Maharaja Built in 1911-12. Visit the Art Gallery, drive up to Chamundi Hill to see Chamundehswari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. On your way back, see the Nandi Bull. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13: Mysore, Hassan (120kms)
Depart for Hassan en-route visiting Srirangapatnam. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Belur- one of the finest specimens of Hoysala architecture, Its Temple of Lord Channakwshava is embellished with carving which has few equals in the world. Later visit Halebid-The seat of Hoysala Kingdom, its great Hoysaleswara Temple was built in the typical Hoysala style architecture. A stellar base with the emblem, of the, lion and elephants seemingly supporting the temple, signify stability. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14: Hassan/ Bangalore
Depart by surface for Bangalore en-route visiting Sravenbelgola. Upon arrival in Bangalore, check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Bangalore -the garden city visiting the Lal Bagh which was a variety of Old Trees, Fountains, and Lotus Pools, Terraces and an assortment of Tropical herbs and Sub-Tropical Herbs. Day 15: Bangalore-Mumbai
