Day 01 : Saturday - Board the Train at Mumbai onto Ajanta (Embark- 1640 hrs)
Journey commences with a train journey from Mumbai to Ajanta. Upon arrival, our traditional welcome style is sure to impress you as a tourist. We will then complete the registration process and embark train. A delicious dinner awaits you on board.

Day 02 : Sunday - Ajanta Caves
Ajanta Caves – you will be astonished to see the World Heritage Site Ajanta Marvel, renowned for rock cut caves. An exotic collection of frescos and sculptures can be viewed there.

Day 03 : Monday - Udaipur
Udaipur flourishes with endearing landscape views to pleasant your eyes. Day 3 at the City Palace and Crystal Gallery will offer great excitement. You will be offered a delectable lunch at a special outlet. Interested travellers can choose to walk around the busy streets of Old Market, the Vintage Car Collection of the royal family or experience the impressive Sound and Light Show in the palace.

Day 04 : Tuesday - Jodhpur
The ride to Jodhpur will really be appealing to your eyes, as we travel through a typical countryside. You can either choose to spend the mornings relaxed on board or you can go to the village visit to encounter the lifestyle of local people. Further, we head to walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market and the royal Mehrangarh Fort. The local village visit can impress you definitely, which you can choose to visit if interested.

Day 05 : Wednesday - Bikaner
Today, our tour program covers the exhilarating desert kingdom, the Bikaner. We have an optional excursion ride to the famous rat temple, Deshnok on Lalgrh Palace Museum. You can also visit the Camel breeding farm. You can spend the noon in an interesting and most impressive way with a visit to Junagarh fortress. Active travellers can also take part in various exciting activities such as the camel-cart procession, sundowner cocktails, skilled folk performance on the sand dunes and barbeque preparation.

Day 06 : Thursday - Jaipur
Today, we will be filled with excitement in the Pink City, Jaipur. We will take part in the Elephant Polo Match, the most-trendy exhibition show. It will be continued by a champagne lunch. This place is the right spot for those who love to shop jewels and fine variety textiles. We, then, visit the Amber Fort. The rest of the day can be spent as per choice, either shopping, spa or golf.

Day 07 : Friday - Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore) - Fatehpur Sikri
Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri – the interesting game drive to the Ranthambore National Park will definitely enthral you. Further, you will really be amused to visit the royal court complex of Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 08 : Saturday - Agra - Delhi (Disembark- 1500 hrs)
Agra - Disembark in Agra – you can definitely delay the day further, as you are heading to the most gorgeous and pretty Taj Mahal today. Followed by a champagne breakfast. Further, we drive back to Delhi and end our journey.

The tariff of the Maharajas' Express includes accommodation, meals, beverages (light drinks, tea, coffee, and mineral water), Indian wines (in house brands), butler service, and porter-age at stations, guided tours and entrance fees at monuments. The tariff however does not include taxes, insurances, alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry, and fees of video and professional cameras.

*Prices are subject to change in case of any amendment in the routing or any other hikes such as fuel, taxes etc.

# USD 500 per person extra surcharge during Christmas and New Year departures.
# Service Tax will be extra as applicable.
*Children below 5 years of age can travel for free.

Booking policy followed by the Maharajas Express is as follows:

If booking is done prior to 90 days of departure or more, then 25% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking
If booking is done less than 59 days of departure or less, then full 100% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking

The cancellation policy that is followed by the train is as:

If cancelled 90 days prior to departure date, then 25% of the published tour cost is deducted
If cancelled 89-60 days prior to departure date, then 50% of the published tour cost is deducted
If cancelled 59-0 days prior to departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted
If you fail to show up on the departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted
